4. I always encourage buyers to attend the inspection. Buyers that attend have a better understanding of the property as viewed by the inspector and are better able to read and interpret the final report. The buyer's attendance also helps them understand the scope of a home inspection as well as the limitations.
5. An inspection can usually be scheduled within one or two days.
6. A typical inspection of a well maintained 2400 square foot house will take roughly three hours.

1. I have extensive experience in performing home inspections. Collectively, I have inspected 183 properties and have 20 years of construction and inspection experience. In addition, I have completed the industry's most extensive training program, offered by Carson, Dunlop and Associates. I am also a FLIR ITC certified Level I Thermographer and can perform infrared imaging and analysis for insulation, moisture, electrical, structural and HVAC Assessment for your home.

The Report...
1. The inspection fees vary depending on the size and age of the house and how well it has been maintained. I am competitive and provide a full service inspection.
2. A full inspection covers the Site/Grounds, Exterior, Structural Components, Foundation, Roof, Attic, Insulation, Ventilation, Plumbing, Electrical, Heating/AC, Garage, Kitchen, Bathrooms, and Interior. We can add special emphasis to any area or item upon request.
3. Yes, I prepare an extensive written report that generally contains 20 or more pages. Included is a Report Overview that will let you quickly review the recommended improvements to the home. The report is narrative in nature so that you can read, in plain English, the results of the home inspection. I also supply ballpark repair estimates for major improvements, repair time frames, and advice on logical discretionary improvements. A Maintenance Schedule is also provided for your home.
4. The report is computer generated. There are no sloppy hand-written checklists! And you don't have to wait for the report.
5. The report is available the same day. If you prefer or are out of the area, we can e-mail the report to you, you can download the username and password protected PDF file from my website, or, at the conclusion of the inspection, we can burn a CD for you.

7. Yes, my reports conform to (and exceed) the ASHI and NAHI Standards of Practice.
